Community Tennis Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate community tennis initiatives across regional Victoria.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about promoting and growing tennis in local communities.

About the Role

The key responsibility of this role is to implement the Thriving Tennis Communities framework at a council level, via analysis and interpretation of data, to inform strategic planning and decision making.

  • Collaborate with councils and key stakeholders to develop and maintain positive relationships within the region.
  • Identify current and future trends for tennis within and across councils and work with the Regional Manager to ensure this is considered in any region-wide planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clubs and venues to maximize funding, facility improvement and program support opportunities.
  • Conduct regular reviews and realign plans with councils to ensure progress of objectives in the region.
  • Work with councils to establish new clubs at new venues and plan network development.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Sports Management or demonstrated experience relative to the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build cooperation with stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Strong report writing, data analysis and presentation skills are essential.
  • High computer literacy with Microsoft suite and database management, as well as confidence in adopting diverse digital platforms.
  • Certificate of clearance and willingness to obtain relevant checks.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and arrangements related to the role.
