Occupational Therapist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or experienced professional to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to clients, developing and implementing effective treatment plans that promote independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assess clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans.
  • To design and implement individualized programs of exercise, education, and support, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • To communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring open and honest dialogue throughout the treatment process.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
