About the Role

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced business systems analyst to join its IT department. This key role involves supporting student-centric systems by providing in-depth analysis, expert advice, and contributing to both operational and strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and review system analysis and IT service delivery programs for student information systems.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate business analysis projects, ensuring requirements are gathered and test plans are built.
  • Develop and deliver pre- and post-project documentation to support business needs and technological advancements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to align technology strategies with business objectives.
  • Create and execute test cases, oversee defect management, and ensure solutions meet quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in system analysis and IT service delivery, resolving complex issues in educational systems.
  • Expertise in delivering level 2/3 system support, gathering requirements, and performing business and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of IT methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile Scrum, Kanban) and regulatory policies related to information security and compliance.
  • System understanding of student-centric enterprise systems and organisational change management principles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
