They have a rare job opportunity available for a sharp and talented Business Systems Analyst to join their Finance team.

The Role:

As the Business Systems Analyst you will play a key part in enhancing financial systems and business processes across the organisation, with a strong focus on system integration, user support, and operational improvement.

Responsibilities

· Oversee the delivery of new finance and corporate service systems, including payroll and time-tracking platforms

· Map and analyse current workflows related to legal administration and financial operations to identify efficiency gains

· Configure systems and design optimal processes to align with business needs

· Develop implementation plans and coordinate system launches across different departments

· Create and facilitate internal training programs to ensure smooth adoption by both legal teams and support staff

· Offer hands-on support and troubleshooting for key financial and administrative platforms

· Build and manage custom SQL reports to deliver actionable data insights

· Maintain detailed records of system settings, procedures, and training documentation

· Act as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Skills and Experience

· 2-4 years' experience working with financial or business systems

· Experience in a legal or professional services setting, a plus

· Degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or CPA a closely related discipline

· Strong understanding of legal and financial technology platforms.

· Proficiency in SQL for reporting and data interrogation

· Demonstrated experience in process analysis and workflow improvement

· Skilled at training delivery and communicating with users of varying technical backgrounds

· Ability to troubleshoot issues and offer practical solutions under pressure

· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Project coordination experience is advantageous
