Commis Chef

Our Commis Chef plays a pivotal role in the success of our culinary team, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests. To excel in this position, you must be well-organized and able to multitask with ease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Senior Chefs: Collaborate closely with senior chefs to deliver outstanding guest experiences through high-quality food preparation.
  • Guide Junior Team Members: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Prepare and Present Dishes: Prepare, present, and store dishes according to established portion and quality standards.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate professionally with guests and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Escalate Feedback: Promptly escalate guest feedback or concerns to senior chefs for prompt attention.
  • Assist with Service Preparation: Ensure ingredients, materials, and equipment are ready and organized for service.
  • Contribute to Cost Control: Minimize waste and maintain accurate portioning to support cost control initiatives.
  • Maintain Standards: Uphold strict food safety standards, maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards, and exhibit professional behavior at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Safe Handling Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge of safe handling and lifting procedures to prevent injuries.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is highly advantageous, but not essential.
