Job Title: Part-Time Finance Officer

This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Part-Time Finance Officer.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient finance professional to support our day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing employee payroll, preparing and lodging Single Touch Payroll reports, reconciling payroll accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process employee payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with tax and superannuation regulations.
  • Prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll reports, calculate and process termination payments, bonuses, and adjustments.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts, record and reconcile daily financial transactions, maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and superannuation payments, reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
Requirements:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and confidently to changing tasks and responsibilities, discretion and confidentiality with sensitive financial and employee data.
