Student Wellbeing and Engagement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Counsellor to join our team as a Student Wellbeing and Engagement Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one counselling for students with complex needs, including risk assessments and crisis management.
- Collaborate with external mental health service providers to ensure comprehensive wellbeing services for students and families.
- Communicate case management plans and build partnerships with Year level leaders and other stakeholders.
- Attend SSGs and case review meetings to ensure effective case management and student support.
- Record and review case notes to inform ongoing student support and wellbeing initiatives.
- Highly developed counselling skills and experience in working with adolescents with complex needs.
- Knowledge of case management and student support strategies, with a demonstrated capacity to deliver a comprehensive wellbeing service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex wellbeing-related incidents and ensure adherence to relevant processes and legislative requirements.
