Student Wellbeing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at the State Government of Victoria, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the Wellbeing Team to meet the wellbeing needs of students, providing high-level wellbeing support to students, and assisting families and staff as required.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the Wellbeing Team to develop and implement wellbeing programs and initiatives that support the wellbeing of all students.
- Provide high-level wellbeing support to students, including individual and group counseling, and referrals to external services as needed.
- Assist families and staff in understanding and addressing student wellbeing issues, and provide support and resources as required.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and services to ensure students receive the best possible support.
- Contribute to the development of wellbeing policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement wellbeing programs and initiatives that support student learning and wellbeing.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for school staff on wellbeing issues and strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing programs and initiatives, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a wellbeing or education setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
- Knowledge of wellbeing principles and practices, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a school setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- High level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
