Nurse Unit Manager Associate

St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and clinical skills.
About the Role:
- Provide clinical leadership and management to the nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practice and patient safety.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements:
- Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in general nursing with current APHRA nursing registration.
- Substantial skills, knowledge, and experience in acute, sub-acute, and/or primary health care settings as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years acute experience.
- Ability to lead others, develop strong working relationships with the nursing workforce, and act as a role model.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and manage change.
- Commitment to providing high-quality health services using a person-centered approach to care.
