Drilling Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Drilling Operations Specialist to fill this exciting role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations using various drilling techniques, including solid and hollow flight augering, Rotary Mud and Air Drilling, Sonic Drilling, Wireline and conventional Diamond Coring.

Maintaining equipment and ensuring daily completion of reports and safety documents is also an essential part of this role.

Key responsibilities include operating drills and equipment safely, in line with localised legislation, regulations and site and company policies and procedures.

Reporting effectively and efficiently through the appropriate chain of command and channels on a day-to-day basis is also crucial.

Providing training and guidance to drill teams is another important aspect of this position.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Driller and be able to work away when required.

A valid HR truck license and Cert III in Drilling or industry equivalent (desirable) are also essential requirements.

Negotiation of NSW Class 1 or greater, water well license (desirable) and current First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential) would be beneficial.

Other essential qualifications include NSW White Card and ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of D&A test.
