The Domestic and Family Violence Clinical Lead is responsible for providing professional leadership to enhance the capacity of the health workforce in addressing domestic and family violence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert knowledge on trauma-informed and violence-informed responses to victims/survivors of domestic and family violence.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve service delivery, incorporating continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborating with colleagues and other health professionals to apply and share expert knowledge.
This role is part of a team focused on preventing and responding to violence, abuse, and neglect. Flexible work arrangements are available.
Required Qualifications and Skills- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Postgraduate experience in assessment, crisis intervention, client-centered advocacy, case management, safety planning, and trauma-informed counseling interventions.
- Ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery.
