We're seeking a talented Computer Vision Scientist to join our innovative team in Melbourne, Australia. This role offers the opportunity to develop scalable machine learning and computer vision solutions that transform the media block of our catalog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large volumes of Amazon's data to automate and enhance content.
  • Design, build, and evaluate generative AI models tailored to our business use cases.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and align on requirements.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research and implement novel machine learning techniques to solve customer problems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages.
  • Publishings on top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or NeurIPS.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly for computer vision.
  • 5+ years of building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in computer vision and machine learning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Estimated Salary:** AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum.
