As a key member of our team, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for overseeing strategic litigation and ensuring the integrity and sustainability of South Australia's Return to Work scheme.

About the Role

This position will play a critical role in managing significant legal cases with Scheme-wide impact, providing expert legal advice on complex legislative matters, and leading a team of professionals.

  • Manage and report on significant legal cases
  • Provide legal advice on legal risks, trends, and legislative interpretation
  • Lead a team of legal professionals
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with key regulatory bodies
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor of Laws, a current Practising Certificate and at least 5 years PAE experience
  • Extensive experience in South Australian workers compensation and dispute management
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • A deep understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks
