Job Description

We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes provide high-support environments for individuals with complex mental health needs, psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered active support, promoting choice and control, and encouraging capacity building to enhance clients' current skills. You will work closely with clinical teams and site managers to follow behaviour support, restrictive practices and client care support plans.

The ideal candidate will be confident, proactive and dependable, with the ability to thrive in complex settings. They will be resilient, adaptable and committed to delivering safe, person-centred support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of disability support principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift/move equipment as required
