Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing complete preventative maintenance services, customer breakdown support, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs of Air Liquide-owned or serviced equipment. You will work in the field and onsite to ensure the equipment or process being attended to is safe and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out works on equipment or processes as required by management in a timely and efficient manner
  • Fault finding, diagnoses, formulation, and delivery of corrective actions while minimizing the need for rework
  • Maintain company assets to help preserve service life
  • Escalate problems to engineers
  • Attend service calls and be available for on-call work as required
  • Execute work orders efficiently following a maintenance scheduler plan

Requirements

  • One of the following trade qualifications: Mechanical Fitter; Gas Fitter
  • Forklift, Elevated Platform, and Confined Spaces Licenses (advantageous)
  • Current and valid State Driver's License (MR class Drivers License advantageous)
  • Current Rigging License (advantageous)
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Customer site service experience
  • Be available for a 7-day on-call roster per month and happy to travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Servicing rotating equipment or air compressors
  • Serving instrumentation or automated systems
  • Working with gas reticulation systems and pressure vessels
