About the Role

Air Liquide is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the Mackay region. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance services, diagnosing faults, and carrying out repairs on Air Liquide Australia-owned or serviced equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring equipment or processes are safe and fit for purpose
  • Carrying out works on equipment or processes as required by management in a timely and efficient manner
  • Fault finding, diagnoses, formulation, and delivery of corrective actions while minimizing the need for rework
  • Maintaining company assets to help preserve service life
  • Escalating problems to engineers
  • Attending service calls and being available for on-call work as required
  • Executing work orders efficiently following the maintenance scheduler plan
Requirements
  • One of the following trade qualifications: Mechanical Fitter; Gas Fitter
  • Forklift, Elevated Platform, and Confined Spaces Licenses (advantageous)
  • Current and valid State Driver's License (MR class Drivers License advantageous)
  • Current Rigging License (advantageous)
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Customer site service experience
  • Be available for 7-day on-call roster per month and happy to travel
