Electrical Plant Operator and Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrical Maintainer/Operator to join our operations team at Millmerran Power Station.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, inspecting, isolating, cleaning, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery and equipment. They will also collaborate with the maintenance team to meet plant performance targets, use the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders, participate in risk assessments, safety analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

This role follows a rotating roster of 4 day shifts, 4 days off, 4 night shifts, and 4 days off, offering a great work-life balance. The hourly rate is $52.16, and there are long-term stability prospects with a renewed contract and strong safety culture.

Rural Allowance: Between $34.00 - $92.00 per week, depending on location. Income protection is part of Super, and on-site parking is available in a secure gated facility. A collaborative team environment with opportunities to grow and innovate makes this role an attractive option.

To succeed in this role, you must have a First Aid Certificate and experience in coal plant operations or industrial experience. You must also reside within a 1-hour drive of Millmerran or be willing to relocate at your own expense.
