We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at the Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) in Essendon Fields, Victoria. As a key member of our emergency veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of emergency medicine.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Emergency Veterinarian to work collaboratively with our seasoned team, sharing knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. In this dynamic role, you will work rotational shifts, including daytime, nighttime, evening, and weekend shifts, and will have opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality emergency veterinary care, prioritizing patient welfare and comfort.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to achieve seamless patient care and communication.
  • Take sole charge responsibilities with confidence and proficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Victoria.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency veterinary practice or relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
  • A genuine passion for helping people and their pets.
