Emergency Veterinarian Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at the Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Essendon Fields. As a critical care specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team providing 24/7 emergency services and specialist veterinary care in surgery and internal medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional emergency veterinary care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Handle sole charge veterinary responsibilities with confidence and proficiency.

Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Victoria.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency veterinary practice is ideal, but experience in emergency is not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully with colleagues, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
  • A genuine passion for helping people and their pets.
