About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Case Worker to join our team at Centrecare. As a Mental Health Case Worker, you will provide social, emotional, and mental health support to children, young people, and their families who are clients of the Child and Adolescent Forensic Service (CAFS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide culturally sensitive and tailored support to clients, including social, emotional, and mental health care.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the provision of mental health assessments and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes, documentation, and reports in compliance with organisational policies and requirements.
What We're Looking For
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the mental health sector and/or with young people.
  • Ability to work full-time and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Understanding of strength-based approaches to client services.
  • Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Card.
  • Possession of a current 'C' (previously 'A') class driver's licence and vehicle.
