Arc Infrastructure's Perth Airport office seeks a Track Design Engineer for a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.
The successful candidate will design, review, and develop integrated track infrastructure for both internal and external projects. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and constructible track designs that align with project timelines.
- Track Engineering Expertise: Apply expertise in Perway/Track Engineering, survey principles, asset management, and constructability aspects to design solutions for brownfield track projects.
- Collaborative Environment: Work independently with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Asset Management, Operations, Works Delivery) and external third-party consultants to consolidate design requirements and implement design solutions.
- Design Solutions: Address constructability, safety, site constraints, and operational/environmental factors in proposed design solutions, especially for brownfield railway systems.
- Site Inspections & Surveys: Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform track infrastructure design and collaborate with external consultants for engagement, design, and delivery.
- Technical Support & Peer Reviews: Provide technical support and conduct peer reviews for internal teams, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Feasibility Studies & Risk Assessments: Lead technical feasibility studies and participate in risk assessments for track design projects, including derailment investigations and other safety-related evaluations.
- Project Collaboration: Assist the Design Manager and Team Leads in day-to-day track design responsibilities and collaborate closely with teams to meet project timelines.
Requirements include a Civil Engineering bachelor's degree, 6-8 years of experience in Railway Alignment Track Design & Engineering, and proficiency in Bentley Openrail Designer & MicroStation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Railway Alignment Track Design & Engineering.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Bentley Openrail Designer & MicroStation.
