Snow Event Timer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a snow event timer.
Mt Buller promises an 'office' like no other with the added benefit of skiing and boarding included in the experience.
You'll be part of a dynamic team delivering high quality on snow events, including Giant Slalom; Slalom; Boarder X; Skier X; Moguls; Snowboard and Skiing Rail & Slopestyle; and Cross Country competitions up to an International level.
Our premier event - the Victorian Interschool's competition has over 6000 individual entries across a suite of disciplines.
The role involves setting up, preparing, planning all administrative aspects of timing for an event.
This includes preparing start lists for events, timing events to ensure accurate results, preparing and publishing results, and all logistical work to ensure each event location has the necessary equipment to conduct safe and effective events.
Employment will commence from mid June through mid September.
Applicants need to have intermediate to advanced skiing skills to fulfill tasks and will work in all weather environments.
Previous event management skills, particularly on snow, are advantageous.
Excellent communication and guest service skills are required, along with a positive, flexible attitude and the ability to be a team player.
Able to maintain a pleasant, professional manner under pressure and during extremely busy times.
Your own ski/snowboard equipment, including helmet, is required.
Previous event timing experience with ALGE timing systems is advantageous.
