Job Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Digital Marketing Specialist at Social Buzz Code. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, developing content strategies, optimising social media platforms, filming and editing content.

The role is located in Sydney, NSW, with some work from home flexibility.

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, and executing effective marketing campaigns. You should also possess strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone with experience in developing comprehensive content strategies, planning social media calendars, and using analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, Google Analytics) to monitor performance and optimise strategies.

  1. Strong understanding of the hooks strategy to increase engagement and drive attention.
  2. Proficient in filming high-quality video content using an iPhone, with an eye for framing and angles.
  3. Experience with video editing tools like CapCut or InShot to create polished, shareable videos for social media platforms.
  4. Knowledge of trending topics, hashtags, and content formats, and the ability to discover and capitalise on them.
  5. Willingness to travel to locations for filming and on-site content creation.
