Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking support workers to assist with providing high-quality care to clients and participants in various towns.

About Us:

We are an ethical and fast growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services across the South Coast, extending from North Nowra/Bomaderry to Kings Point, covering the beautiful Shoalhaven region.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
  • Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
  • Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation)
  • Assistance with medications
  • Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive difference in their lives
  • Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors (preferred but not essential)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (online module to be completed prior to start date)
  • Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
  • Resilience and compassion
  • Current First Aid certificate (current or enrolled in)
  • Current CPR certificate (current or enrolled in)
  • Current National Police check (essential)
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle (essential)
  • The right to work in Australia (essential)
