Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our Trust Team at Eucalyptus. As a key member of our security engineering team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a reliable, global, and effective digital health platform. Your primary focus will be on driving security initiatives and engineering systems to uplift the security posture, culture, and trust in our custom healthcare platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering teams to identify key security risks in their projects and perform threat modeling assessments.
  • Perform security testing against our applications, networks, and cloud infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and work with teams across the business to manage vulnerability remediation.
  • Engineer security tooling to automate processes, implement security guardrails, and security self-service tooling.
  • Participate in incident response exercises and develop incident response playbooks. Respond to security alerting and perform log analysis.
  • Support stakeholders across the business with security queries.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer who has a strong background in security roles at software companies or as a consultant. You should have at least 2 years of experience in security roles and be able to code effectively in at least one modern language (Python, Go, JavaScript, etc.). You should also have experience with using and managing cloud services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Additionally, you should have an ability to build systems and internal tooling to efficiently achieve security objectives.
