Longwall Operations Manager

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the launch of a new longwall operation. As part of a supportive and strong culture, you will lead a high-performing team towards excellence.
The goal is to revive this world-class operation, with development coal production targeted for early 2024 and longwall coal production expected in 2026. This presents an exciting opportunity for growth and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the safe and efficient execution of all longwall-related activities by leading the production crew.
- Provide day-to-day supervision of longwall operations, coordinate with technical services and maintenance teams, and ensure compliance with statutory and site-specific safety requirements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, safety leadership, and team accountability.
- Lead the longwall production crew to achieve operational excellence.
