Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Deputy to join our team in a coal mining operation in QLD.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

  • Assume responsibility for supervising a crew of operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to QLD regulatory and legislative guidelines at all times.
  • Promote a safety culture within the operations and encourage employees to adopt safe behaviors.
  • Collaborate with the Undermanager to maintain high standards in longwall mining.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid QLD or NSW Deputy practising certificate.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Deputy / ERZ Controller in UG coal.
  • Strong people management and communication skills.

The position offers a 7/7 roster with FIFO Brisbane options (all expenses covered), DIDO, and Residential possibilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a successful and valuable team, bringing your expertise and influencing across operations.
