Inventory Management SpecialistJob Overview

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining the seamless flow of inventory within the supply chain.

This includes receiving and storing goods, managing inventory transfers and deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory records, and adhering to health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum 3-5 years' experience in inventory management.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning systems with SAP highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to manage working relationships across production, planning, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong administration and intermediate excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good numerical ability.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock Receipts: Verifying goods to ensure they meet delivery standards and are accurate to what was ordered.
  • Dispatch and Stock Transfers: Goods are packaged correctly for safe movement and delivery of goods both internal and external.
  • Storing Goods and Accuracy: Ensuring the safe and accurate storage of inventory maintaining quality standards through batch rotation, allergen control etc.
  • Maintain Accurate Inventory Records to Avoid Shortages and Fulfillment Delays.
  • Calling off Inventory from Procurement and Storage Warehouses.
  • Maintaining QA Requirements and Record Keeping.
  • Stocktakes and Counts: Assist with the completion of stocktakes and stock counts. Posting stocktakes and stock counts in the system.
Requirements
  • Receipt Accuracy >= 98%.
  • Team Inventory Accuracy >= 98%.
  • Warehouse GMP >= 100%.
