Procurement Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support the sourcing of goods and services that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll play a key role in purchasing, supplier management, and process improvement ensuring we get the right products and services at the right time and price.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues. They will be proficient in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite and have previous retail store experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate purchasing for a range of needs, from consumables to services.
  • Manage purchase orders, delivery confirmations, and supplier follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier lists, and pricing agreements.
  • Assist with supplier performance tracking, contract administration, and compliance processes.
  • Keep data up to date in AP21 and other systems, preparing reports and supplier contact lists.
  • Work cross-functionally with store operations, marketing, IT, and facilities to forecast supply needs.
  • Support finance with invoice reconciliation and procurement documentation.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of procurement processes and supplier engagement.
  • ERP/procurement system experience (AP21 a bonus).
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation skills, and ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous retail store experience highly regarded.
