This role supports a high-performing team by providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth within our business. You'll leverage your expertise in IT hardware to develop strong relationships with existing and new clients, and work closely with our sales team to support the sales process from proposal to close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, quote and review hardware requests, liaise with external suppliers and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
  • Plan and prioritize sales support activities towards achieving agreed business goals, while managing your time and productivity effectively
  • Identify sales leads and escalate them to Business Development Managers
  • As a skilled specialist, this position completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance and customer data
  • Provide administrative support for the production of tenders, bids and other sales-related documents
  • Handle or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of our products/services
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to build a culture of service excellence
  • Display operational discipline, adhering to Datacom processes, policies, and procedures while promoting a positive team culture
Essential Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with at least 2 years of experience in the ICT sector who possesses:

  • Sound knowledge of IT hardware products and services
  • Excellent relationship-building and management skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and team members
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of effective collaboration
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
