SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 based on experience and location in Australia.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate IT Technical Expert for Windows, Citrix, VMware, and Unix technologies in Telstra's Defence Operations, Data Centre Operations Team.
You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills in a non-production environment, supporting the operations and maintenance of the Telstra Defence Terrestrial Communications Network (DTCN).
In this role, your primary focus will be on the operations of the production environment, while also getting the chance to work on the Defence Canberra Integration Laboratory (pre-production and integration) to prepare solutions for deployment into production.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance is required for this role.
- Proven experience in managing DTCN platforms, restoring elements to working order, proactively looking for potential issues, managing changes within the environment, maintaining the DTCN Baseline, and improving the DTCN platforms.
