Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced NDIS Home Team Leader to oversee a team of support workers providing services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for clients in their homes.
  • Manage client intake processes, including assessments, care plan development, goal setting, and progress reviews.
  • Monitor service delivery, guaranteeing appropriate support according to individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals involved in client care, such as therapists or healthcare providers.
  • Manage staff rostering, ensuring adequate coverage while adhering to organizational standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback for growth opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in mental health is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the disability or healthcare sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of NDIS guidelines and regulations.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications are required.
  • Effective team management skills, including rostering, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards relating to disability support services in Australia.
