We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join our National Work & Road team in our Ashfield office. As a Legal Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our busy team, with ongoing training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Provide exceptional care and support to our clients in a professional manner, building strong relationships with our clients, internal and external stakeholders.
- File Management: Support the team with general file management and administration, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Coordination: Coordinate appointments for our lawyers, medico-legal appointments for our clients, conferences, and mediations, communicating with clients, insurers, and other professionals both in writing and verbally.
- Document Preparation: Prepare legal correspondence and compile court documents, preparing matters for conferences and hearings.
- Experience: Previous experience in legal support or business administration, with a natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and customer service skills, excellent written and drafting skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
- Education: A willingness to learn and a proactive approach with initiative.
