About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Assistant to join our National Abuse team in a part-time capacity, ideally 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional support to lawyers in advancing civil claims on behalf of clients who have been abused as children in schools, juvenile detention facilities, and other institutional settings.
  • Assist with general files management and administration, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate appointments, medico-legal appointments, conferences, and mediations, maintaining strong communication with clients, insurers, and professionals.
  • Prepare legal correspondence and compile court documents with precision and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as a legal assistant, preferably in personal injury law.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, and work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Proactive approach, initiative, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
