Job Description

Job Title: Lead Educational Administrator

Job Summary:

The State Government of Victoria, Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Educational Administrator to join our team as a Principal in an Executive Class position. As a key member of our education team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the planning, delivery, and evaluation of education programs for students in a community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of education programs for students in a community.
  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive education program to all students.
  • Establish and manage financial systems in accordance with Department and school council requirements.
  • Represent the Department in the school and the local community.
  • Implement decisions of the school council.
  • Contribute to system-wide activities, including policy and strategic planning.
  • Integrate the resources available to the school.
  • Appropriately involve staff, students, and the community in the development, implementation, and review of school policies, programs, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Appropriately qualified individuals currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of educators.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of education policies and procedures.
