About IB Schools Australasia:

We are currently looking for a skilled and passionate individual to fill the role of Primary Homeroom Teacher.
Position Overview:
The Primary Homeroom Teacher will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Delivering direct instruction to both groups and individual students;
- Contributing to the design, execution, and assessment of curriculum initiatives within the institution;
- Performing additional teaching and administrative duties as assigned by the School Principal;
- Engaging in various activities such as parent-teacher conferences, staff gatherings, camps, and field trips.
Essential Skills:
- A strong commitment to educational excellence and student development;
- Outstanding organizational and classroom management abilities;
- Effective communication skills, particularly in challenging situations;
- In-depth content knowledge and teaching strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students;
- A clear understanding of appropriate interactions with children;
- Relevant experience, qualifications, and personal attributes expected for the role.
Qualifications:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Primary Education;
- Prior teaching experience in primary classroom settings.
