About the Role

Rondo Building Services is a leading provider of interior wall and ceiling systems for large-scale commercial projects in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Drafter to join our team based at our head office in Erskine Park.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain CAD Systems: Create and update Rondo's CAD standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all projects.
  • Maintenance of Drawing and Document Control System: Oversee the upkeep of our drawing and document control system, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • CAD Support: Provide technical assistance to the wider business, including design engineers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Preparation of Standard Installation Drawings: Create detailed, technical drawings for standard installations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Liaise with Design Engineers: Collaborate with design engineers to provide relevant drawings and details, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Liaise with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to provide standard drawings and details, supporting sales efforts and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Certification: Hold a tertiary qualification in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD).
  • Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience in drafting, including:
    • AutoCAD Experience: Proficient in AutoCAD, with experience in creating detailed, technical drawings.
    • 3D CAD Modelling Experience: Familiarity with 3D CAD modelling software, such as AutoDesk Inventor, is desirable.
    • Vault Experience: Experience with Vault is desirable.
  • Technical Drawing Skills: Possess thorough knowledge of CAD drafting principles and practices, with the ability to produce timely, high-quality accurate drawings and documentation.
