  • A Solar Engineering Student will be responsible for coordinating drawings, conducting trade quote reviews, participating in project meetings, updating field drawings, verifying site conditions, setting up records, and creating graphical schedules using AutoCAD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience is an asset.

In this role, you will apply various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.

You must have Australian Working Rights to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform the following tasks:

  • Coordinate drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
  • Conduct trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
  • Participate in project meetings and take meeting minutes
  • Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings
  • Verify site conditions and coordinate drawings
  • Set up and maintain records
  • Create and maintain graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
Qualifications

  • Have a strong desire to work in a construction environment
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset
