Junior Geologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Geologist to support our geological software business.

As a Junior Geologist, you will work closely with our business development team to deliver technical demonstrations, support tenders, and ensure customer success during onboarding and implementation.

  • Partner with business development managers to identify, develop, and close opportunities.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and input into proposals and tenders.
  • Lead software evaluations and proof-of-concept builds.
  • Support customer success during implementation and training.
  • Assist with campaign events, conferences, and promotions.
  • Contribute to product development through feedback and regional testing.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in earth sciences.
  • Experience in an exploration setting.
  • Exposure to Micromine Origin (at university or in a professional setting).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for technology and continuous improvement.
  • Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience across Gold would be desirable.
