Technical Geoscientist Role

Micromine offers a next-generation technology platform for geological data exploration and modeling. We seek a technical geoscientist to support the growth of our business in Australia.

This strategic, customer-facing role involves delivering high-impact technical demonstrations, supporting tenders, and ensuring customer success during onboarding and implementation.

About The Opportunity
  • Partner with business development managers to identify, develop, and close opportunities.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations and input into proposals and tenders.
  • Lead software evaluations and proof-of-concept builds.
  • Support customer success during implementation and training.
  • Assist with campaign events, conferences, and promotions.
  • Contribute to product development through feedback and regional testing.
About You

You are a passionate geologist with a technical background and a drive to deliver value to customers. You should be confident presenting technical solutions and enjoy helping others solve geological problems.

Your Experience And Attributes
  • A recognised tertiary qualification in earth sciences.
  • A few years of experience in an exploration setting.
  • Exposure to Micromine Origin (at university or in a professional setting).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for technology and continuous improvement.
  • Pre-sales or technical consulting experience is highly desirable.
