Job Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Women's Health Network as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife (Clinical Education). In this role, you will work across multiple wards.
- You will be responsible for supporting Midwife Unit Managers by leading clinical education and promoting quality patient care.
- Provide midwifery and/or nursing services across various care settings.
- Guide and support less experienced staff while being accountable for your own clinical standards and delegated responsibilities.
- Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, women, and families to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Hold an Education Portfolio with tailored responsibilities based on individual development goals and performance plans.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Registration as a Midwife or Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and a current practicing certificate.
- Tertiary or vocational qualifications in education.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills for positive health outcomes and productive working relationships.
- Registered Midwife or Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-graduation experience.
