Nursing Education and Research Leader

UNSW Medicine & Health is an international leader in learning, teaching and research. This position will play a key role in the School, leading and advancing outstanding nursing education and research at national and international level.

Job Description:

This position will lead the development, delivery, and enhancement of high-quality nursing education for the Faculty. You will also foster strong research partnerships and advance the reputation of UNSW through interdisciplinary research in health systems and nursing, ensuring alignment with national priorities, workforce needs, and UNSW's Progress for All strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD in Nursing or related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Evidence of academic excellence in nursing education and research, with a national/international profile.
  • Registered Nurse eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Experience with curriculum accreditation and alignment with NMBA and TEQSA standards.
