This exceptional opportunity allows you to shape the direction of a brand-new team, driving innovation and growth in electrolysis and corrosion protection.

As a key figure, you will be responsible for leading the Electrolysis and Corrosion Protection team, overseeing the development and implementation of strategic frameworks, safety protocols, and governance systems. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and managing enforcement activities to safeguard public well-being and meet stakeholder expectations.

Collaboration is central to success, working closely with asset owners, industry committees, and contributing to the creation of Australian Standards, research, and guidelines. Providing critical technical input into NSW and Commonwealth programs, influencing the future of electrolysis and corrosion protection across the sector.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electrolysis and corrosion protection systems, or the ability to quickly learn. Experience with inspections and audits, as well as an understanding of industry standards and regulations, is essential. A background in project management, engineering, or a related field is required.

Essential qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent qualifications and experience); or Trade qualifications in Electrotechnology, coupled with experience in the utilities or a related industry.
