Senior Prosecutor

Make a Real Impact through the Pursuit of Justice

The Queensland workers' compensation scheme requires a Senior Prosecutor to ensure fairness, integrity, and accountability. You will play a key role in investigating fraud, false claims, claim farming, and other breaches of the Act.

This is an opportunity to work on complex matters involving:

  • Evidence assessment and delivery of high-quality legal advice.
  • Matter preparation for trial, sentence, or appeal.
  • Courtroom advocacy or instruction of external counsel.
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the justice system.
  • Supporting continuous improvement through training and collaboration.

This role also involves reviewing confronting or distressing content. Professional supervision and access to wellbeing services are available.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Admission, or eligibility for admission, as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Queensland.
