Transforming the energy sector with innovative solutions is a pivotal role in our organization.

As a forward-thinking leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-impact products that address the complex challenges faced by Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy customers in Australia.

With your in-depth knowledge of the C&I energy market, you will champion the needs and requirements of this critical customer segment, ensuring our product roadmap delivers tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and opportunities.

This dynamic position requires an experienced Subject Matter Expert/Product Owner with a proven track record of driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the C&I energy market within Australia and APAC, including market trends, regulatory changes, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Be the primary point of contact for understanding C&I customer needs within APAC region and translating them into actionable product requirements.
  • Define and champion the product vision and strategy for the C&I segment within APAC region within our organization, aligning it with our overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to develop and prioritize the product roadmap for C&I features and functionalities in APAC region.
  • Own the product backlog for C&I related features, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and reflects the needs of the market and our clients within APAC region.
  • Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, sales, marketing, and clients within APAC region.
  • Work closely with the go-to-market team to ensure successful product launches within APAC region.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations for future development.
  • Collaborate with other product owners, engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and alignment across our platform.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor offerings in the C&I energy space within APAC region to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in the C&I energy supply market within either APAC or Australia, preferably in a product management, business analysis, or consulting role.
  • Deep understanding of C&I energy procurement, billing, customer service, and related processes within APAC or Australia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable product specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
