Job Description

The Financial Services Specialist will drive business growth by maximizing opportunities in retail finance sales and insurance product sales. This includes a range of products, from comprehensive insurance to extended warranty and commercial lending.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including finance and insurance product providers, dealerships, and the dealership network.
  • Analyze sales data to identify gaps and implement best practices, maximizing mutual value.
  • Develop an understanding of dealers' needs and build individual plans for each dealership.
  • Collaborate with product suppliers to create new products and campaigns, ensuring their success.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for dealers, requiring extensive product and system knowledge.
  • Provide regular training to dealer staff on a need-assessment basis, designing and delivering programs that keep them informed, upskilled, motivated, and engaged.
  • Maintain competitor awareness and report as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of working experience, with at least 5+ years in a related field, such as representing an OEM to a dealership network, excelling in a dealership financial services environment, or working with a bank or consumer lending company.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve results with limited supervision.
  • Financial acumen and intermediate-level IT skills, including Microsoft Office software.
  • Able to travel frequently, occasionally for extended periods, and take the initiative to think strategically and execute plans in a fast-paced environment.
