Home Care Cleaner Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide cleaning services to clients in their own homes. By providing this service, it enables clients to continue living in their own home and maintain independence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out light cleaning tasks, including house cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishwashing and shopping, as required by the client.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and has good communication skills. The position offers a comprehensive induction program, uniforms, company mobile phone, continual learning and development through paid professional training and regular staff meetings, protective clothing and equipment.

The attractive salary includes Salary Packaging, 7% Graduate Loading payable where you hold a degree in a relevant discipline, professional development opportunities, and a friendly and supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category)
  • Presenting a Schedule 1 or Probity type National Police Check (no older than 12 months)
  • Providing an International Police Check if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia after the age of 16
  • Presenting a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical
  • Providing a current Driver Licence
