Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers;
  • Conducting regular check-ups, ultrasounds, and monitoring the progress of pregnancies;
  • Assisting with childbirth and supporting mothers during labour;
  • Offering postpartum care and guidance to new mothers and newborns;
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth, and postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment;
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development;
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver's licence.
