Midwifery Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled Registered Midwives to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns.

This exciting role involves delivering high-quality prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough check-ups, ultrasounds, and monitor pregnancy progress to provide accurate assessments and interventions as needed.
  • Assist with childbirth and support mothers during labor, promoting a safe and comforting environment.
  • Offer comprehensive postpartum care and guidance to new mothers and newborns, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential for efficient documentation and record-keeping.
  • Recent experience in antenatal, labor, birth, and postnatal care, lactation, and infant feeding is required.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying updated with latest midwifery practices and research findings.
  • A valid unrestricted NSW Driver's License is necessary for travel to home visits and other work-related activities.
