Job Title: Superannuation Fund Accountant

A Financial Expert for Funds Administration

The role involves assisting in the preparation of funds' financial accounts and activities, ensuring compliance with legal, professional, and ethical standards.

  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Verifying superannuation fund investment holdings
  • Reviewing and paying fees and premiums
  • Reconciling general ledger accounts
  • Preparing statutory financial reports, including planning and liaising with auditors
  • Managing daily unit prices and reconciling unit holdings with custodians
  • Preparing Business Activity Statements
  • Preparing APRA reporting, quarterly and annually
  • Compiling trustee reports and compliance documents
  • Ensuring client service standards are met
  • Evaluating current processes and recommending improvements

This position requires a candidate with at least five years of experience in superannuation or financial planning, formal qualifications in superannuation, relevant tertiary education, practical experience with superannuation technology systems, and excellent customer service skills.
